FIELD: materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: joint of edge strip 3 placed in step plate 2 has one key 6 or 7 at its lower side. Cross-sections of keys have shape of parallelogram with identical angles relative to each other or trapezium. Keys 6,7 located in corresponding slots 8,9 made in plate 2 form slot-and-key joints of definite type. At their lower sides, strips 3 have at least two welded-on arresting pins 10 extending downwards and passing through adjacent plate 2. Fitted on free ends of pins 10, projecting downwards from plate 2, are clamping rings 11, one ring per pin, flexibly adjoining lower side of plate 2.
