SUBSTANCE: brace has a pack of prestressed reed springs, with springs disposed adjacent to inner side of pack having initial curvature radius exceeding that of springs disposed adjacent to outer side of pack. Brace is further provided with supporting parts and wedge-shaped thrusts. Supporting parts are disposed between wedge-shaped thrusts and pack ends. Surface of supporting parts faced towards thrusts is made cylindrical. EFFECT: simplified construction, increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
