FIELD: construction. SUBSTANCE: unit for connecting three-layered panels of geodesic cupola has connecting members mounted at inner and outer sides of cupola and joined by clamp bolt. Panels have coverings and filler. Adjacent panels disposed at outer and inner sides of cupola in the vicinity of joint areas are made with cavities for receiving connecting members. Each connecting member is made composite and has outer and inner clamping members. Inner clamping member has longitudinal stiffening rib and shaped depressions. Outer clamping member of irregular section has shaped protrusions conforming to shaped depressions. Coverings of adjacent panels are jammed between clamping members. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
