FIELD: typical volumetric members employed in construction, aviation, ship-building, space and rocket engineering. SUBSTANCE: volumetric honeycomb is manufactured in the form of polyhedral corrugated band with flanging of edges forming part of perimeter of honeycomb call by its corrugations. Flangings are directed towards one side from external surface of band forming lateral profile of band in the form of channel. Corrugated band is manufactured with straps having flangings put on sides of corrugations. Corrugated band can be manufactured in the form of set of trihedral volumetric members with or without flangings of same type inserted one into other and joined by means of resistance welding. Process of manufacture of honeycomb structures provides for positioning of volumetric members with reference to each other with matching of planes of contact, their joining by these planes and attachment of two coverings along planes of flangings by resistance welding.
