SUBSTANCE: furnace has combustion chamber 1, fire grate 2, perforated water-cooled wall 3 separating combustion chamber 1 from furnace bin 4, plunger 5 enclosed in box 15, connected to blower 18. To regulate the distribution of air-gas mixture in height of bin 4, detachable baffle plates 23 are installed on wall 3, and the lower end of front wall 10 is provided with horizontal baffle 25. Plunger 5 has the shape of a sector in cross-section, and its working surface is made as an asymmetric chute with the higher depth on the side of the cylindrical surface.
