FIELD: working of metals. SUBSTANCE: method involves vibratory treatment of construction by successive multiple-spot excitation of resonance oscillations at a number of resonance frequencies revealed from preliminarily registered frequency characteristic of construction. In the process of vibratory treatment each vibration exciter at each resonance frequency is used as setting exciter, and amplitudes and phases of exciting forces of remaining vibration exciters are set in accordance with oscillation mode excited by setting vibration exciter. EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing more uniform residual stress field in construction with complex geometry and nonuniform acoustics. 1 dwg
