FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: interaction of wheel with bearing surface is provided through several support shoes uniformly installed on central part of wheel over its outer perimeter and hinge- connected to wheel, several shoes being constantly in contact with bearing surface; in process of wheel rolling duration of interaction of each shoe with bearing surface under vertical and horizontal loads is increased with preservation of adopted angular velocity of wheel and provision of stabilization of position of wheel axis in vertical. As to design of wheel for implementing this method, support shoes 4 are coupled with central part 1 of wheel through rods 3 which are connected by ends through flexible joints 5 and 6 with central part and shoes.
