FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for metal jet vacuum treatment has vacuum chamber, made in the form of lined body with bottom, pouring outlet and shell, auxiliary capacity with steel-discharging outlet and skirt, that is vacuum-tight mounted on vacuum chamber, mounted on bottom of auxiliary capacity slide valve gate with drive, vacuum-tightly passed through wall of the skirt; refractory screen and branch pipe to feed inert gas. Steel pouring outlet skirt is mounted directly on flange of vacuum chamber shell. Slide valve gate is made three-plated. and its drive is made as hydraulic cylinder, axis of which coincides with direction of motion of slide valve gate movable plate. In the case, refractory screen is made in the form of dome-shaped arch with central hole and is free mounted on flange of vacuum chamber flange, and inert gas feeding branch pipe is built in wall of the skirt and directed to lower surface of slide valve gate. EFFECT: apparatus is used for smelted steel jet vacuum treatment in steel continuous casting process. 2 cl, 2 dwg
