FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: vacuum chamber has body with bottom, connected with bottom discharging branch pipe, ring-type collector to feed cooling air and protecting screen. Collector is located on lower part of vacuum chamber and protecting screen is made in the form of quickly removable tubular cross-section segments with perforated upper wall. Segments of protecting screen, using grips, rest at discharging branch pipe and are connected with ring-type collector by spherical lenses and wedge-type connections.
