FIELD: structural and reinforcing materials. SUBSTANCE: bulked cloth has single-layer sheets located one above the other and threads of binder running about the warp threads of sheets. Sections of sheets joined with threads of binder are shifted relative to each other. Device for manufacture of bulked cloth has healds for warp threads and heald mechanisms for threads of binder. Each heald mechanism installed for motion in vertical plane has a pair of raising rods and openwork healds located between them. Openwork healds have threads, guide holes on head and installed for engagement with one of raising rods and displacement together with it. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 11 dwg
