FIELD: knitting machines. SUBSTANCE: kinematic chain connecting driving takeup roll with electric motor shaft includes reducing gear whose input member is connected with electric motor shaft. Reducing gear output member is connected with planetary gear. Driving gear wheel of planetary gear is supported in radial thrust bearings, located on periphery of this wheel. Rotation axis of wheel coincides with that of frame. Gear wheel supported in radial thrust bearings has axial hole to pass cloth from takeup rolls to product receiver. Hole diameter exceeds length of takeup rolls. Driving fear wheel of planetary gear is connected with driving takeup roll through bevel gear set. Cloth tension transducer is made in form of electric motor current transducer. Input of transducer is connected with output of electric motor power supply circuit.
