FIELD: analyzing of gases. SUBSTANCE: method involves directing the first radiant flux onto gas mixture and, through an optical filter, the second radiant flux whose wavelength is selected from outside the absorption bend of the tested gas component, registering intensities of the first and second radiant fluxes with a photoelectric converter, passing the second radiant flu additionally through an absorbing gas whose temperature and pressure are maintained equal to the temperature and pressure of the analyzed gas mixture, equalizing the signals proportional to intensities of the first and second radiant fluxes, taking the logarithm of the output signal proportional to the intensity of the first radiant flux, subtracting the constant component, maintaining a constant output signal proportional to the intensity of the second radiant flux, changing transmission coefficient of the measuring channel and determining the concentration of the component under analysis by the value of the signal proportional to the intensity of the first radiant flux. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
