FIELD: computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has normalization unit 1, comparison unit 2, triangle voltage generator 3, full-wave rectifier 4, multiplication unit 5 and average value calculation unit 6. Centered random process, which was normalized in its variance, is sent to second input of comparison unit 2, which first input is connected to input of full-wave rectifier 4 and to output of triangle voltage generator 3. Signals from outputs of comparison unit 2 and full-wave rectifier 4 are sent to first and second inputs of multiplication unit 5 respectively. Average value calculation unit 6 calculates average value of signal from output of multiplication unit 5. Result of average value calculation serves as estimation of asymmetry of random process.
