FIELD: engineering. SUBSTANCE: there is a disc-shaped diaphragm mounted for rotation. A number of additional holes of different diameters are made in the diaphragm, with the size of each hole corresponding to the size range of particles of the powder to be sprayed. Centers of all the holes are located on the concentric circumference whose radius is equal to the distance between the axis of channel and the rotation axis of diaphragm. Arc distances between the periphery of any two holes of diaphragm should not be less the diameter of the powder feeding channel. Moreover, the periphery of the diaphragm has notches the number of which corresponds to that of holes. The housing of the torch carries a spring-loaded lock mounted for engagement with the notches. EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability. 1 cl, 2 dwg
