FIELD: metallurgy and machine building. SUBSTANCE: tilter has V-shaped trap for workpieces, tilting arm of fork shape installed in horizontal and perpendicular positions as to lengthwise axis of the workpiece being handled, and hinged with a lever to a trolley providing motion of handling lever. The trolley moves reciprocally. The hinge connecting the trolley to handling lever is installed movable on raising/lowering table located in initial position below the upper plane of a roller conveyor by a value equal to 2 to 3 values of sides of the square workpiece being handled. EFFECT: handling both curvilinear and straight workpieces using one device. 3 dwg
