WOOD-WORKING MACHINE Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: machine has a housing with the front and back working plates, a knife shaft, a pressing fixture and a drive. The pressing fixture is made as a housing of box-type enclosed shape. Two pressing rollers are mounted inside the housing in the zone of the knife shaft with the aid of axles, screws and nuts on independently spring-loaded rotatable planks. During the shaping the two pressing rollers secure the uniform pressing of the blank both in the zone in front of the knife shaft and after it. For this purpose the rollers are equipped with the mechanism of synchronization and adjustment of the height of their disposition from the surface of the working plates as a rocker arms mounted on the axles. The mechanism is connected through them with the planks and through the adjustable screw with the housing of the pressing fixture. The fixture is mounted on the lateral walls of the machine. EFFECT: such a construction of the machine excludes the possibility of touching the knife shaft by a worker and also excludes the necessity of pressing the blank with the worker's hand to the working plates during the machine operation, it enhances the operational safety, ease of exploitation and the quality of treatment. 1 cl, 3 dwg
