FIELD: parachute technique. SUBSTANCE: parachute has canopy base and cords. Canopy base 1 has flat end part 3 (flat circle in layout), part 4 in form of truncated cone and cylindrical part 5. Cords 2 are secured to lower edge of cylindrical part 5. Parachute canopy is provided with framework 6 made of radial load-bearing bands. EFFECT: increased drag coefficient due to mounting the part in form of truncated cone whose larger base is directed towards cylindrical part between flat end part and cylindrical part of parachute canopy base. 1 dwg
