FIELD: powder compounds. SUBSTANCE: powder compound contains, mas. cannon ballisite with fractions of 4-10 mm and moisture content of 1-3 mas. treated with 0.5-2.0 mas. of instrument oil 25-40; water 13-18; thickening agent 0.5-2.0; structuring additive 0.015-0.100; the balance, ammonium nitrate. Thickening agent is used in form of sodium carboxymethylcellulose or polyacrylamide. Structuring additive is used in form of hexahydrate of chromic sulfate, or chrome alum, or ferric sulfate, or chrometan. Powder compound is prepared by adding into saturated solution of ammonium nitrate of cannon ballisite treated with instrument oil and ammonium nitrate into mixing-charging machines directly on charged unit. Hole is charged through charging hose with simultaneous introduction of Structuring additive to mixer-metering device of mixing-charging machine, or directly into hole. Components are supplied to mixer, mixed and dispensed in form of ready powder compound into hole simultaneously and continuously. Characteristics of powder compound: detonation critical diameter 90-100 mm; detonation velocity 50-52 km/s. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 1 tbl
