SUBSTANCE: device for cooling rolled sheets in motion comprises filling reservoir preferably in the form of cylindrical bath, one of side surfaces of which has an outlet in its upper part. Projection of the outlet onto horizontal plane represents isosceles trapezium with rounded corners adjacent to its long base, and facing side surface of filling reservoir with its short base, with lateral sides of the trapezium inclined by 15 to 20 to its height line, and radius of easing the change between lateral sides and long base is within 0.2 to 0.3 of trapezium height. EFFECT: device provides cooling with plane laminar water jets, for example, uniform and effective cooling. 2 dwg
