FIELD: enameling of cast iron and steel products. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of enamel slip, application of slip to product surface and firing. Slip is prepared by mixing slip of ground coat enamel EG-2 in the amount of 58.3- 63.2% with slips of cover-coat enamel ESP-33 in the amount of 31.9-27.51% and adding of 5.5-5.47% of marshalite and 3.8-3.82% of pigment. Firing is performed for 10-15 min at 740-780 C. To produce strong dull black coating, introduced into enamel compound is pigment containing cobalt dioxide in the amount of 12.5-20.6% To produce dull black coating, firing is effected at 740-750 C. To produce lustrous rough coating, firing is carried out at 770-780 C. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 2 tbl
