FIELD: mineral mining. SUBSTANCE: method involves opening of deposit upland part, drilling it out and blasting from underground workings so that ground-stepped face is formed, with face line inclination angle being equal to the angle of rest of broken rock massif; forming pile from rock massif sliding down the slope by dragline, with pile being disposed outside dangerous zone; working pile by mechanical spades followed by loading it into vehicles, with loading horizon being below upper mark of opened mineral for a value equal to dragline dip height.
