FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: installation has device for setting testing conditions, vacuum meter or pressure gauge positioned downstream of the carburetor, and means for supplying, flow rate measuring and separating testing liquid from air. The means for separating liquid from air has housing, face walls, tangential branch pipe for supplying mixture of air with testing liquid to the separator, pipe for discharging air, branch pipe for discharging separated testing liquid, and vacuum source. The installation also has ring collector for testing liquid and two inserts for the housing. One of the inserts and the housing define a ring space connected with the branch pipe for discharging mixture. The other insert is secured to the bottom face wall and serves for transporting air from the zone under top face wall to the discharging pipe. The housing of the separator is diverging at the bottom part mounted with a spaced relation above the bottom face wall and defining the passage for communication with the ring collector. The branch pipe for discharging the separated testing liquid is connected at the bottom point of the collector. EFFECT: decreased metal usage. 5 cl, 3 dwg
