FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: known method involving sowing of slopes with perennial grasses in spring and summer, planting trees and brushwood is improved by new techniques and their implementation. The sowing rate on steep slopes of spoil banks with a gradient exceeding 30 deg is 2-3 kg/ha of small-seed and 5-6 kg/ha of large-seed bean grasses. These grasses forming a flower-nectar conveyor with a long blooming period and an optimum range of bee pollinator plants are arranged according to species from top down along the steep slope in alternating strip-shaped areas taking in account existing microclimatic and hydraulic characteristics of the slope. Besides, strip-sown bean grasses are separated every 15 m by regular horizontal strips at least 3 m wide of garden forms of perennial lupine in combination with medicinal honey plants, toxic or poorly-eaten phytophages. The prevailing species of brushwood plants include nectarous and pollen-carrying plants formed into a flower-nectar conveyor, and the individual species are planted from top down over the steep slope taking in account the existing microclimatic and hydraulic conditions of the slope. The upper part of the slope is sown with brushwood in the form of a solid massif, in a cellular pattern in the middle and in vertical strips at the bottom. EFFECT: higher efficiency of recultivation achieved by increased productivity and stability of created biocenoses, freeing valuable plowland for crops demanding rich soils. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
