MEDIUM-RANGE ROTARY SPRINKLER Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: medium-range rotary sprinkler has body 1 with central boom, two side booms 2, rocker 4 with reactive blades 5 on ends and bracket 8 rigidly connected with some rotating part of sprinkler. Rigidity fitted on each end of bracket is deflector 9 whose working surface is pointed to side opposite to working surface of reactive blade. Position of working surface of deflector 9 on bracket 8 can be adjusted upwards/downwards, around vertical of deflector working surface with axial line of nozzle 3. This provides optimum value of force of reaction of jet to turning of sprinkler to assist the spring of turning unit. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 dwg
