FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: during rotation of chuck of mechanism moving cutting tool 1, outer cutting tool 10 reaches section α2 and moves by amount S relative to inner cutting tool 20, thus pipe is cut. Pipe is subjected to bending within elastic deformation between collet 12 and outer cutting tool 10. Cutting the pipe is effected by all points of cutting edge of outer and inner cutting tools.
