DEFLECTOR FOR SLANTINGLY DIRECTED AND HORIZONTAL BOREHOLES DRILLING Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: drilling. SUBSTANCE: deflector has two supporting joints with extruding supporting shoes, hydraulic chambers and valves. Between supporting joints there is free set bush, reacting to position of deflector in borehole. Bush has spring-loaded slide-valves, that are connected with it by telescopic links, mounted so as to be capable to be engaged with hydraulic chambers valves. The valves in the case are mounted so as to be capable to turn in plane, that is perpendicular to axis of body. In some versions deflector is made with turning ring with hoses to connect valves with hydraulic chambers of lower supporting joint. Bush, reacting to position of deflector in borehole, in some versions has supporting rollers, mounted along its inner and/or outer diameter. Deflector in some versions is connected with drilling string or bottom hole shaft by hinge joint. EFFECT: deflector is used in drilling. 5 cl, 3 dwg
