FIELD: valving. SUBSTANCE: middle part of the housing is diverging and provided with a closure member having a driving shaft. The shaft is positioned eccentrically with respect to the housing seal and sealing surface of the member. When the valve is open, there is a space between the wall of the housing and the closure member for flowing around the member. The main path for the flow is positioned in the passageway between the inner surface of the housing and the top edge of the member provided with a lengthened part or projection.
