SUBSTANCE: seal is constructed as a ring with combs which is mounted on the rotor and defines ring grooves, and honeycomb ring which encloses the grooves, is made up as Z-shaped ring ribs, and is secured to the stator. The width of each ring groove is equal to the height of the hollow of the Z-shaped rib. The profile of the cross-section of each ring groove is defined by the arc of the circumference whose center is located on the generatrix surface of the rotor ring.
