FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: values of one filtered-off signal-dividend are divided by values of other filtered-off signal-divisor and signal-quotient is obtained; value of its derivative is determined at moment t1 when signal-divisor reaches its extremum; phase shift fo is determined by using equation given in description of invention; for final determination of phase shift fo between signal-dividend and signal-divisor within the range of -π to +π sign of signal-quotient derivative and quadrant for fo are taken into account.
