FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: the tool contains two handles with jaws, on one of which a cutting element is placed. The cutting element comprises two cutters with cutting edges formed by inclined and vertical surfaces. The second jaw is a supporting one and has a strip which provides the required clearance between cutters and supporting surface, and the jaw has an outlet for cut off insulation.
