FIELD: oil and gas producing industry. SUBSTANCE: method for trapping of hydrogen sulfide-containing vapors consists in that trapped vapors before treatment with absorbent are separated into two flows, one of which is directed for treatment at pressure of gas space of tank, and the other, in amount of, at least, 1/10 vol. of total flow at pressure exceeding the pressure of vapor space of tank by 0.002-0.01 MPa. In so doing, point of introduction into absorbent of the second flow is located below the point of introduction of the first flow. In this case, concentration of separated colloid sulfur in reaction is maintained within the range of 0.1-4.0 g/1. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg, 2 tbl
