FIELD: separation and processing of gases. SUBSTANCE: the method involves separation, compression, absorption of acid impurities, drying, separation of hydrocarbon fractions, processing of acid impurities and getting elementary sulfur with further final cleaning of waste gases. Membranes of polysulfone or cellulose acetate are used. Gases obtained in the phase of catalytic oxidation are hydrogenated and mixed with the gas flow which did not pass trough the membrane. Regeneration gases obtained during the absorption cleaning and drying travel to hydrogenation along with gases obtained in the phase of catalytic oxidation. After compression, gasses are passed through the membrane at the temperature which is higher than the dew point of the gas being treated, the pressure ratio above and under the membrane should be 2 - 100.
