FIELD: extraction of gold. SUBSTANCE: method involves effectuating cyanidation of pulp; sorption of gold by active coal; desorption of gold from saturated coal and recovery of coal for further usage in the process. Prior to cyanidation basic pulp is preliminarily treated by active coal so that coal saturated with flotation reagent is obtained. Flotation reagent saturated coal is exposed to thermal reactivation and fed for sorption of gold and upon extraction and desorption of gold is returned for sorption of flotation reagents from basic pulp. EFFECT: increased gold capacitance of coal, reduced consumption of active coal and coal recovery costs.
