FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: loom cloth regulator has worm wheel kinematically connected with doffer and worm and means for changing cloth density of the weft. Means for changing the cloth density of the weft is made in form of sections of faces of worm turns contacting the wheel. In so doing, located behind the section of turn with standard helix angle ϕПВ1 is section of turn with helix angle of ϕПВ2-0°, and further on is located the section of turn with helix angle ϕПВ1ПВ3< 70q found within interval of ϕПВ3. Respective sections of worm turn are in contact with worn wheel simultaneously. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
