FIELD: wasting of pellets. SUBSTANCE: machine is provided with side sluice chambers located on the external sides of sintering cars along the vacuum chambers. The sluice chamber has a packing slip plate conjugate to the sides of the cars from the top; it is furnished with air curtain chambers installed on the machine charging and discharging sides. The packing slip plate can cover the sinter burden in width at a distance of not more than 100 mm from the sintering car side. The sintering car has side ports in the fire grate located in the lower part of the fire bars. Besides, the machine is provided with a diaphragm has gas-exhaust ports, whose area equals the grate clearances, and the plates mounted on the sintering the direction of machine motion; the packing side pockets cover the side ports of the fire grate of the sintering car in width.
