FIELD: ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: charge and sinter return are placed together on conveyer, sintered while cooling down sides of pallet and packing of clearances between pallet and vacuum chamber. Charge is sintered with combustion zone spaced at least 100 mm from sides. Sides are cooled down and clearances packed with blend charged from outer and of pallet sides and hot sinter return is placed between charge layers. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 3 cl, 2 dwg
