LINK REJECTOR FOR AUTOMATIC WEAPON Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: military equipment. SUBSTANCE: link rejector for automatic weapon has system of guides composed of nut 2 screwed on carriage 3 and guide 4 anchored on it. Part of it is manufactured in the form of rotary cover. Nut 2 embraces box of automatic weapon with groove, protrusion of cover interacts with receptor. Bracket 8 with spacer is attached to cover, separable pin 10 is installed in hole of bracket 8. Symmetric tie-rods 11 are put on pin 10, at the same time tie-rods are put on axle 12 installed into hole of nut 2. Protrusions b to accommodate elements of link 13 are made in nut 2. While firing automatic weapon links 13 interact through receptor with protrusion of cover, pass through space formed by guiding protrusions b of nut 2 and guide 4. When links 13 pass through this space load force on to cover acts through bracket 8, pin 10, tie-rods 11, axle 12 on nut 2. Separable pin 10 is removed to throw off cover when loading weapon. Interaction of protrusion of cover and receptor is controlled by setting of spacers 9.
