FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic relay has base mounting yoke and fixed contacts facing in pairs each other with their effective surfaces and provided with rectangular slots located between contact members of each pair, and also core with coil and armature with shank secured on insulating block and mounted of loose end of yoke for turning about it, reset spring coupled with yoke and armature, movable contacts on contact holders secured on insulating block and placed between fixed contacts spaced apart through sum of predetermined separation and thickness of movable contact. Stops are provided on underside of block symmetrically in respect to its longitudinal axis; vertical step is provided on front end of insulating block; insulating block end joined with yoke has lug with slot; loose end of yoke is located in this slot; armature shank has additional grooves; walls of base slots and fixed contacts are located on same plane.
