FIELD: electrical engineering; circuit-opening devices. SUBSTANCE: known electromagnetic relay that has case, contact system, magnetic system incorporating coil, armature, and magnetic circuit built up of yoke and core one of whose leads is rigidly fixed to yoke and other is loose and arranged for interaction with armature, is provided, in addition, with projection in middle part of case, on one of its side walls which is arranged for rigid fixation of magnetic circuit with coil, and its core is made of two L-shaped strips each having two sections bent at right angle; loose ends of core are in parallel with longitudinal axis of coil and its middle parts are placed on one of end surfaces of coil. Yoke is provided with L-shaped strip bent at right angle and rigidly joined with yoke; bent portion is located in same plane and opposes loose end of core. Relay is provided with flat insulating spring; mentioned projection is made in the form of wedge with its top facing longitudinal axis of coil, and its base is parallel to this axis; height of projection does not exceed distance between side surface of coil and loose end of core mounted on projection base; mentioned flat insulating spring is placed between top of projection and coil so that it is supported by webs of insulating coil former.
