FIELD: domestic appliances. SUBSTANCE: electrical connector has socket composed of base and case with partitions forming spaces, spring-loaded rocker mounted on axle for turning, current carrying jacks made fast to rocker, plug incorporating case and pins, pusher made in the form of working spring installed in one of spaces of case socket, locating arm produced in the form of tooth with cut mounted on axle for turning and spring-loaded lever rigidly coupled to tooth. Automatic unmating mechanism is fabricated in the form of bimetal clamp rigidly anchored on case of socket with one end and contacting release lever with the other one. Insertion into socket of spring-loaded lever put on axle for turning on one side of which there are anchored current carrying jacks contacting pins of plug and which other side contacts case of plug gives capability to enhance electric safety of electric connector as access to current-carrying jacks of socket is hindered to a large extent when connector is unmated. EFFECT: enhanced electric safety. 1 dwg
