FIELD: confectionery production. SUBSTANCE: proposed fruit-paste candy contains jellifying agent, sugar, flavoring additives and modified wheat bran, their mass ratio being 1.3-1.6:69.47-71.92:25.23-25.48:1.0-4.0. Said fruit-paste candy is prepared by dissolution of jellifying agent, by adding into it sugar and modified wheat bran which are preliminary ground and which are sustained in water at 98-100 C within 30-40 min and by boiling thus prepared mass. Then its cooling, adding flavoring agents, final boiling, formation and sustaining of desired articles are carried out. EFFECT: improves quality of desired product. 2 tbl
