FLOATING CRANE LIFTING MECHANISM Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: load-lifting facilities; floating cranes. SUBSTANCE: crane boom head is made in form of cross beam with groups of paired pulley block casings. Load winch drums are arranged in two rows and are connected by clutches. Each group of pulley blocks is reeved by one wire rope whose ends are secured in unidirectional end faces of two adjacent drums located in different rows. Fitted on boom cross beam at side of its joint are fixed block casings, and return and equalizing blocks are arranged in casings farthest from wall of cross beam. Drums are connected by clutches in each row. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 6 dwg
