FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves treating slag melt by gaseous reducing agent, with circulation gas-lift mixing being provided, and simultaneously charging solid reducing agent. Ratio of circulation flow rate and melt flow rate is in excess of 7, content of metal iron in circulating melt is maintained within the range of 0.8-10% and rate of feeding of solid reducing agent is within the range of 0.04-0.5% of mass circulation flow rate of melt.
