ELECTROLYZER Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2041291 C1

FIELD: electrolysis. SUBSTANCE: electrolyzer has at least one intermediate electrode-like structure positioned between two end electrode-like structures, a separator on each side of intermediate electrode-like structure, a mean for electrolysis current supply to the electrolyzer, and a mean to feed electrolytes to electrolyzer chambers, and removing electrolysis products from them. Intermediate electrode structure has current- carrying and distributing core of at least one sheet metal of high conductivity, a row of parallel, projecting ribs, provided on both surfaces of said core. EFFECT: high efficiency. 5 dwg
