FIELD: electrolyzers and methods of preparation of base solution and solution containing acid, and methods of preparation of base solution and solution containing pure acid. SUBSTANCE: the offered electrolyzer has, at least, one electrolytic cell separated by ion-exchange membranes into electrolytic compartments accommodating a system of supply of electrolytic solutions and a system of withdrawal of electrolysis products. Cell has cathode and a unit of anode depolarized with hydrogen and forming hydrogen gas chamber. Anode unit has cation-exchange membrane, porous electrocatalytic flexible sheet and porous rigid current collector adjacent to electrocatalytic sheet. In this case, cation-exchange membrane, electrocatalytic sheet and current collector are coming in contact with one another without fastening, owing to pressure. In addition, the invention relates to the method of preparation of base solution and solution containing acid, and also to the method of preparation of base solution and solution of pure acid.
