FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: bimetallic-strip thermal relay has case, base-cover, movable and fixed contacts, and clapping bimetallic-strip sensing element; stops are made integral with mentioned sensing element. To this end, four symmetrical cuts are made in clapping bimetallic- strip sensing element along two parallel sides to form four lugs; two lugs are arranged crosswise and bent up to form upper stop and two other lugs are arranged crosswise and bent down to form lower stop. EFFECT: reduced input of bimetallic-strip material, simplified design. 4 dwg
