FIELD: automated electric drives. SUBSTANCE: power supply source of excitation winding of electric machine has diode-thyristor converter which output is connected to excitation winding of electric machine, device for control over thyristors and device for protection against break of excitation current which includes threshold element. Excitation winding and input circuit of optotransistor which output circuit is placed in parallel to capacitor of integrator are connected in parallel to thyristor of converter. Input of integrator is linked to voltage source and its output is connected to threshold element. EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
