FIELD: agricultural and tractor engineering. SUBSTANCE: to increase efficiency of forward and backward motion of self-propelled vehicle the later is furnished with differential mechanism connected with engine and gearbox and also with pump by means of positive-displacement speed changing unit. Outlet main line of hydraulic pump communicates through two-position three-line hydraulic control valve unit with one of two groups consisting of safety valve and controlled choke connected in parallel. One of chokes has minimum passage area which makes it possible to optimize process of changing over from one speed to the other when gearshifting. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of operation of self-propelled vehicle. 1 dwg
