FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: synthesis of a new water-binding agent of unspecified structure of dispersive alumosilicate systems such as a coordinated ferric chloride compound with aniline or with a mixture of aniline or its derivatives (production waste) having characteristics better than those of the prior art water-binding agents. The process is carried out by treating ferric chloride with aniline at a ferric chloride to aniline molar ratio of 1.5- 2.0:(7.0-7.5). EFFECT: improved properties of water- binding agents.
