FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: waste heat recovery unit has housing 1 partially filled with heat-transfer agent and provided with tangential branch pipe 2 for feeding the heat-transfer agent; unit is also provided with drain pipe. Coil 4 arranged in housing 1 is used for heating the medium. Cleaning device 5 is made in form of rotor 7 floating on float 6. Rotor 7 is connected with filter 8, brushes 9 and damper 10. Branch pipe 2 is connected to housing above filter 8. Pipe 3 is arranged axially relative to housing and its upper end is located at level of heat-transfer agent contained in housing 1. Coil 4 is two-start device; its inlet and outlet branch pipes 11 are connected to lower portion of housing 1. Filter 8 is made of two rows 13 and 14 of wire located on surfaces of two cones and secured common larger base 15 as cantilever. Adjacent lengths of wire of different cones are located at equal distance increasing from periphery to center. Rotor 7 is made in form of pipe manufactured from heat-insulating material. This pipe embraces pipe 3 forming passages for heat-transfer agent. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 5 cl, 3 dwg
